Kao Gong: an open examination of Kung Fu.

The Fourth Shaolin Kung Fu Games will be held in Singapore, uniting China, Singapore, and global martial arts institutions to promote Chinese culture.

Featuring updated content and a people-oriented approach, the event ensures professional excellence through mandatory demonstrations by Kung Fu Ambassadors and personalized feedback for all contestants. Committed to fairness and the discovery of new talent, the Games aim to modernize the traditional Kao Gong examination system and bring it to the world stage.

Eligibility, rules, attire & safety.

01Eligibility

Open to authorized martial arts units, schools, clubs and groups. Entry must be made by a team or recommended by a master or coach and approved by the committee.

02Competition rules

Traditional events use the 1998 rules; competitive Wushu and Taiji use the 2024 rules.

03Attire & equipment

Martial arts attire and sports shoes are required. Common equipment may be provided; special equipment is the contestant’s responsibility.

04Safety

A signed safety statement is mandatory. Teams are responsible for health, eligibility, insurance and discipline.
